The Canary Islands (Canarias) are strengthening their position as a strategic hub for aerospace investment and innovation. The Government of Canarias has identified aerospace as a priority sector, and the Canary Islands Aerospace Strategy is central to this vision.
In September 2025, a delegation led by Proexca presented the strategy in Morocco, meeting key institutions such as GIMAS, the Institute of Aeronautical Trades (IMA), CEMAES, and Spain’s commercial office in Casablanca.
