Promoting the Canary Islands Hub in International Events and Fairs

During November, Canary Islands Hub has attended the most exciting events and fairs to promote the many advantages of the Canary Island as a Business Hub. Excellent connectivity, EU Legal framework, specialized workforce, quality of life and the lowest tax system in Europe. Among others, the following deserve to be highlighted:

SAO PAULO AND CAMPINAS (Brazil): from 2 to 5 November 2015

For four days individual meetings with Brazilian companies and institutions were held to promote the benefits of the Economic and Fiscal Regime Canary Islands (REF) and more specifically, the opportunities offered by the Islands as a platform to access the emerging markets in West Africa.

Also, for the first time, an information day was held in the city of Campinas, located on the outskirts of Sao Paulo. The event was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of organizations such as ICEX Spanish - INVEST IN SPAIN, CESCE and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Brazil and Brazilian institutions such as CIESP (Center of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo) and Chamber of Commerce Afro Brazilian (AFROCHAMBER).

DUBLIN WEB SUMMIT: from 3 to 5 November 2015

PROEXCA participated in the Dublin Web Summit promoting the Canary Islands as the European Hub in Africa. This summit is one of the biggest technology events in the world where major industry leaders gather at smaller startups, entrepreneurs and investors. In this year’s event, 42,000 people from 134 countries participated.

NOAH CONFERENCE LONDON: from 12 to 14 November 2015
